Cancellation Policy
Each performance is a sacred collaboration — dates are limited and confirmed upon receipt of deposit. Every performance is a meeting of artistry, energy, and intention. To honor this work and ensure a seamless, transformative experience, please review the following policies before booking: 1. Booking Confirmation A booking is not confirmed until: A signed Performance Agreement is received; and A non-refundable deposit (50%) has been paid via the approved payment method (Zelle, Venmo, or Invoice Link). 2. Payment Terms The remaining 50% balance is due no later than 7 days before the event date. For bookings made within 7 days of the performance, 100% payment is due upfront. Late payments incur a 10% late fee after the due date. 3. Cancellation Policy Cancellations made by the client less than 14 days before the event forfeit the deposit. Cancellations made within 7 days of the event require full payment. In the rare event The Violin Muse must cancel due to emergency or illness, all funds (including deposits) will be refunded or credited toward a future date. 4. Performance Insurance For venues that require proof of coverage, The Violinist can provide a Certificate of Liability under a standard small-business insurance policy. If additional coverage is requested by the venue, clients may either provide it or reimburse the cost. Primary Contact Requirement To preserve the intimacy and artistry of The Violin Muse experience, we work directly with the person inquiring throughout the entire planning process. Should you choose to involve a planner, they are welcome to assist you behind the scenes — however, all communications, approvals, scheduling, and performance decisions remain exclusively with the original client.
