Cancellation Policy

Cancellation may be made by Client before 3 days prior to the time of Performance, in which case deposit Fee is nonrefundable, but no remaining payment is due. Entire Fee is nonrefundable for out-of-town performances or performances in which travel accommodations are required. If Performance is cancelled within 3 days of Performance, total Fee is nonrefundable. In case of Emergency, Violinist may cancel at any time prior to Event, in which case Violinist may provide a qualified substitute or refund/cancel the remaining Fee. Violinist may also cancel at any time at her discretion or if the terms of the Client/Violinist agreement are altered by the Client after the confirmed booking in which case the deposit Fee is nonrefundable. If precipitation should occur during an outdoor ceremony, Violinist will cease performance until appropriate coverage is provided to ensure protection of instrument in which the total Fee is nonrefundable. In the event Performance cannot reasonably be put on because of unpredictable occurrences such as an act of nature or government, the 50% deposit of Fee is nonrefundable, but no other portion of Fee is due, and the parties may negotiate a substitute Performance on the same terms as this Agreement save for the time of Performance, with no further deposit of Fee due, in which case a new Agreement reflecting this will be signed by the parties. No further damages may be sought for failure to perform because of force majeure. Client will secure sufficient parking for Violinist's within a reasonably convenient distance to Venue for a minimum period of 15 minutes prior to the Performance and lasting until 15 minutes after the Performance. Client warrants that Venue will be of sufficient size to safely conduct Performance, that Venue is of stable construction and sufficiently protected from weather, and that there will be adequate security and/or emergency medical responders available if foreseeably necessary. Client maintains sufficient personal injury/property insurance for Venue sufficient to cover foreseeable claims. Client accepts responsibility for providing any and all information regarding COVID-19 policies and restrictions of the Venue before the signing of this contract that could potentially inhibit the Violinist from performing. Violinist is not responsible for venue, hotel, travel, etc. COVID-19 restrictions that may impact or otherwise inhibit the performance in which the deposit fee and remaining fee are nonrefundable. Violin-O-Gram requests are nonrefundable.
